Entrance to the RAAF Base
Welcome. What to do if you’re visiting the church for the first time?
The church normally meets at the Point Cook RAAF base chapel. But it’s being renovated at the moment (finished in April 2021). So we’re temporarily meeting at the Cinema at RAAF base Laverton.
Security – a photo ID
Because you’re entering a military base you must show an ID with your photo on it at the entrance gate. (Either a current driver’s licence, passport or student card). Everyone in the car 16 years and older must show a photo ID. You’re not required to show an ID for children under 16.
A visitor’s pass. Don’t worry it’s easy.
Because you’re a visitor, the gate guards will provide you with a visitors pass. Don’t worry, it only takes a few minutes. But allow a bit of extra time and come a little earlier. (The security guards are used to visitors). You must wear the visitors pass while on base at all times.
Where do I park and where’s the Cinema?
A member of the church will be at the gate to show you where to go.
Covid safe
The Church meets under an approved COVIDsafe plan. All you need to do is bring a face mask and we’ll explain the rest.
Welcome. We look forward to seeing you.
